Teaching locations

Gyaltsang Rinpoche does not currently have a dedicated centre to teach from. Instead, he uses two spaces (at two different addresses) that have been loaned from friends for in-person teachings: a Tibetan shrine room and a Chinese shrine room. He has also taught online through Zoom.

See below for details about each location:

For security, the address of a teaching (or the Zoom link) will never be listed on this website. It will only be provided through email, Facebook, or WhatsApp. Our WhatsApp group is the main way that we advertise teachings and share updates.

The Chinese shrine room

Rinpoche mainly teaches in a spacious Chinese shrine room in a converted shed. The shrine room has some chairs and lots of open floor space.

To get the address, please email us, or you can join our Facebook group or WhatsApp group and ask for the address there.

Note: When you arrive at the address, please do not enter through the front door. Rinpoche teaches in a shrine room behind the building, with its own separate entrance.

To access the room, please go through the driveway gate and follow the path towards the back of the property. The shrine room will be on your right.

Accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Many parking spots outside. There is a bathroom in the main house.

The Tibetan shrine room

Rinpoche occasionally gives teachings in the Tibetan shrine room of a small suite behind a house. The shrine room is cozy and can’t accommodate too many people.

To get the address, please email us, or you can join our Facebook group or WhatsApp group and ask for the address there.

Note: When you arrive at the address, please do not enter through the front door. Rinpoche teaches in a suite behind the building, with its own separate entrance.

To access the suite, please go down the right side of the building, through the gate pictured below. Once through the gate, turn left and you’ll see the door to the centre. Please knock or ring the doorbell and wait to be let in.

Accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Many parking spots outside. There is a bathroom immediately beside the shrine room.

Zoom

Rinpoche has also taught through Zoom. We have a paid Zoom account that allows for long meetings. Due to limitations with Wifi access, we do not currently support hybrid teachings, but we may find a way to implement this in the future.
